I've just started ignoring the report emails. They spam my box like crazy because the sender is 4 lines high and pisses me off. That and the fact that what actually gets reported is like 4 differet posts per 10 messages because for some reason all the forum vigilantes report the same post when they see it.

Is there any way to display a message that states "This post/thread has already been reported. Thanks." Or something like that?

Not that I know of. Also, the second reason I ignore them is that when there used to be reasonable amounts, I would always check them, but they would already have been warned/infracted/edited/deleted before I got to them. I only check my email maybe once a day.

We need to get kaiser to search for some hack that only allows a post to be reported once.

or something that has some sort of time delay for a post that is broken after another user posts in that same thread, so only one post can be made until another member replies. but i dont think such a thing is possible.

if kaiser found a way to do stuff like that.
it would be for the best.
in order to prevent the mods to be spammed with multiple reports of the same thing.

I've seen many forums that can do that, but I can't recall ever seeing that in vbulletin. Basically you just don't get a "post a new reply" button if you were the last to post.
