PS1P iso won't finish loading

Every time I try to run Castlevania SOTN it gets stuck loading the image. I have two rips, one is from my brother's copy and an .img, the other is mine and a .iso file made with MagicISO. I tried the .img with PSXP and it runs, just slow. But every time I try in PS1P it runs the emulator, but can't finish loading the rom.

Any helpful hints?

A) Install a custom firmware, I recommend 3.40 OE-A

B) Transform your .img and/or .iso to EBOOT.PBP (to run the game at full speed + sound). Use a program called Icetea, or psx2psp.

C) Copy the folder that have the EBOOT and BIN to the game folder.

D) Run it and enjoy!
