hi, are you sure its geodata for whole germany? I also tried searching but didnt find anything x_X

actually it is possible to change it into mapthis format, we would just need to know the way it has to be and write a program, which should change it to be readable by the mapviewer.
I think deniska offered help with that.
It would be nice if you could send me the link to the files via pm, cause im also interested in german geodata

i would also like to thank deniska for this great app!

i just received my psp-290 and it works great, even without the extension cable! i can't wait to use it in berlin next week.

geodata for germany would be great, but i don't think that this will happen soon, as the EU just does not want us to have this info for free.

btw: some info of my setup: psp ta-082 with fw 3.40 OE-A, mapThis 0.497 and a brand new psp-290. i used keycleaner to fix some but not all the keys and it works just fine for me.

I'd like to quickly point out that ones search results with Google differ dependant on which suffix you use - the search results for Google.de anr different to Google.com, or .co.nz etc etc. As such, it would be more helpful to either stipulate what Google suffix you used or, less complicated, just post links to the stuff you find.

If you guys do track down some unencrypted geodata it should be reasonably easy to get it into a CSV (import in Excel, drag some columns about, etc.), and after that I've added importing custom geodata into GMDL, see: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Map_This!?#Custom and redownload http://www.in7ane.com/psp/gmdl0.4.17a.zip
