Default Best way to disable a v-chip?

I recently got a crappy haier tv off of ebay for very cheap, to find that the v-chip had been enabled. I tried contacting haier, but no luck. I tried unplugging the tv for a day, still no luck. 0000 and 8888 don't work. It came without a help manual. Any help would be appreciated.

idk, actually I left it unplugged for 2 weeks while I was gone and it's working as of now. I'll let you know if it reverts.

Alright, I can now view the channels that were blocked, but it still blocks TV-MA shows, which are the best ones!

    1234 didn't work.

Really? I never saw it, I just decided to put my fw history in a spoiler, then made it interesting.

And, I didn't really get it from ebay.

Come on guys, this is important!

I contacted Haier but they suprisingly (/sarcasm) didn't respond.
