Big deal. Sony really has it all wrong. Although admirable in their idea of pushing technology in my opinion Microsoft has the better machine. Just because the PS3 will be a "Linux supercomputer" as Kutaragi says what matters and I hope your all with me on this is the gaming. Not using it as a computer. Hell, they sell Vaio's for that. Plus to me the PS3 is a bloated mess of technology.
They want to push Blu-ray on us and that's all fine and dandy because either that or HD-DVD will eventually be the standard but really how many of us (truthfully) have HD-televisions? How many of us will get into big Lan parties? Who will have two, (count them!) two screens/monitors to have dual display? Who won't try hacking the machine when bluetooth is enabled?
Sure Microsoft has similar goals but they are trying to be a bit more modest and keep us happy. oh and for the record for any fanboys out there: Killzone 2 at E3 was CG boys! CG! not realtime! And really, demos? who the hell cares about demos?
