This is ridiculous I’m a non smoker but I don’t believe that the government should have the right to tell you that you can’t smoke in a public place after all it was smokers the government ran to every time they needed a new tax increase to piss away on nothing it’s been smokers who have bank rolled the government for so long it’s not even funny. If you are a private establishment and you don’t want smoking in it that’s fine it’s your business and you can conduct it anyway you want. When your going to a Pub/Bar you know there’s going to be smoking lets face it for a good majority drinking and smoking go hand in hand if that bothers you drink at home or a friends house where you can tell them to go outside. Mark my word this is the first step to “womb to the tomb care” from the government next it will be no caffeine or no chocolate or whatever little by little they government is taking our rights and no one seems to care.

Good. Those old people need to spend less time playing bingo and more time erecting a giant statue of me!

i went to a gig on sunday night and came out of the venue not stinking of smoke, which was a nice change. I'm definitely glad it's happened. Hopefully it's some incentive for a lot of people to quit which would definitely reduce the impact smokers have on NHS waiting lists etc.

It might even reduce the amount of people with cancer too, cause most of which only get it through second hand smoke (from breathing in a public area)
