as my own countdown nears an end i find myself thinking "i have been here before".

Got home a few hours ago from an all night beach adventure. I think I've mentioned the "drum circles" here before. Basically every full moon people gather on the beach, play drums, have a bonfire, dance, drink, and generally go out of their mind. My birthday this year happened to fall on the first weekend drum circle of this summer. Ridiculously huge, at least 300 people at this thing, a good 50 or so with drums of some sort.

Long story short, I breathed fire, I drank very little (due to a) destroying my mouth with the overproof rum I was breathing fire with and b) having been sick the past day), I ended up with three cakes and only one having a bit eaten from it, got a cigarette put out on my hand, and ended up bringing home at least 300$ worth of liquor that people brought and for the most part didn't drink =).

I can't wait to get a good time to try this petron añejo or find a good drink to use the Grand Marnier in.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes folks. Time to get some shut-eye, so that I can get up later and start preparing for the fourth
