    hey guys im thinking to buy a m-1000,is there any thread teaching how to make it work.also is it better than the psp-290.

    I buy M1000 and it work perfect !!!
    But psp-290 with extender work well to.

    You can buy "mini-usb extender" from http://pc-mobile.net/psp_miniu_extension_diy.htm
    (code on site CMUE).
    But you need to create one more power line cable to work with psp290.
    Think create tutorial on next week if have free time.

    There are messages all over the forum in getting this to work but I prefer the videos to understand what is going on. You could also click on the links to PDG's signature to get an idea. All you need to do is replace the psp290 eboot with the holux which leads me to my previous question, post #11. I still not sure what the difference is but moving on...

    The reason I chose this device because it is equipt with bluetooth. You could attach it to your laptop, PDA, or use it with your smartphone as long as the software is capable of handling GPS. I received mine yesterday but cannot use it yet until the cable comes. In the meantime, you could load the software on your stick and see if you could launch the maps.
