Plug the line into the router, and have an ethernet cable coming out of it into the pc.

Plug the line into the router, and have an ethernet cable coming out of it into the pc.
Will it connect to the router even though i have a bad card
The ethernet port is bad on your pc or the router?
Post a pic of your setup.
I dont know heres in explanation I have my ethernet cable and the modem that the broadband company gave the guy went to plug in the ethernet cord into my PC from the modem he tried to load it up it didnt work. Then he said that my Ethernet Card was bad on my PC . So to get me on the internet he plugged in this USB cable from the modem to my PC and the internet works fine. My question was how will I make my Linksys work when it arrives at my house because i only have the USB connector in my modem to the computer and I was wondering how will I have to set up my Linksys since my ethernet card is bad on PC and I was wondering if it didnt even matter if it was bad or not.
Use the ethernet cord to plug the broadband into the router, then use the usb adapter to plug it into your pc.
Thanks so much parkermauney thats actually makes sense to me. Ill tell you how it works out when my router gets here
I was confirming that I read his post.
I know, after reading over it I considered deleting it, but then thought he would be more comfortable knowing that I knew that he would tell me when he got it.
