Lets hope DAX can come back as another user, but sony... if they did this then i will not buy their stuff any more, i won't even upgrade! i hope sony has bad sales the next few months!!!!!!!!!
I feel for Dark_Alex, I respect that he had the guts to go this long, and I also I agree he deserves a life like the rest of us who use his work FREELY I might add. I might have just started being in the homebrew scene but even if you have been here from the beginning doesn't give you the right to flame on him, unless you can do better and make a Custom Firmware then you have no right to insult him. Because I've tried coding... and its incredibly Frustrating if you don't like it. Thanks Dark_Alex like many have said you have made my PSP the best system I've ever owned PERIOD.

Also if Crisis Core requires a higher firmware than 3.4 i'll be one sad PSP owner....
OH SH*T!!!
I now refuse to buy sony products :S DARK ALEX!! Your the reason my psp hasnt died from dust, you rock, and hopefully you will return one day!
You rule Dark Alex!!!

I think many people would agree that the scene would not be nearly what it was, had you not been here. and from this point forward, the rest of us will have to learn to do more, rather than just waiting for the next DAX release.
Good Call. all in all, I'm positive it's a good call to leave before the hand looming over decides to come down.
lastly, SONY will never recieve close to the respect that I have for you.
have a great life, DAX
Incredibly disappointing.
I bought a psp specifically because I heard about it's ability to run emulators and custom firmware on it. A lot easier than lugging 10 game systems around from deployment to deployment.
It's been great up to this point, because the actual psp games have been sort've...well...awful. While there are a few gems, I'd much rather spend my time playing Secret of Mana or Contra than most of the newer titles. However, with the titles Square has lined up like CC, FFT, and Dissidia, I can't help but worry that I'll have to shell out another 150 bucks to have a psp specifically for running psp titles.
Thanks for all the work you've done, DAX. You've given many soldiers the ability to stay true to our gaming roots. Hopefully someone will pick up where you've left off somewhere down the road.
Skai is right DA does deserve a life like the rest of us man , its only right to let him be.
DA rules! (could have made done well in the sony industry haha)
