Nobody would like sony for making Dax quit.
That doesn't mean you can't still like sony, but personally I've never really liked them, I just like the games that my favourite software companies have published on their machines. If we didn't have sony, then they would just design the games for a superior system, so I don't give a $#@! about sony.

Don't we all, after the death of the Sega Saturn I looked elsewhere for games but the N64 wasn't living upto everything I wanted so I was forced to buy a PlayStation to play games that were not released on the Saturn and would never see the light of day on the N64 such as FFVII FFVIII FFVIX MetalGearSolid Tekken3 TimeCrisis etc.

Then when the Dreamcast was dying the only option was the PlayStation2 (at least until the GameCube and Xbox came along), with games being released such as GranTurismo3 MetalGearSolid2 and FFX.

Not to be fooled but when the GameCube was released (not long after the Xbox) it was clearly a better console (thou Nintendo's kiddie audience), but why on this damn earth were the good games still being released just on PlayStation2 (and only some on Xbox). Was it because SONY were paying them more for exclusives to get more hardware sales, who knows?

Then a good 2 or 3 years later emerged the Nintendo DS and soon after the SONY PSP, same story and developers make some of the better games for the PSP. Thou I can't actually say many are that good, except maybe a few. But the only reason the PSP has had it's success is not down to the games, but it's all down to the homebrew capabilities through a choice of either downgrading to 1.50 or upgrading to a custom firmware. Homebrew sold the PSP, NOT SONY or the games!

Which now there is the whole PlayStation3 Xbox360 and Nintendo Wii, which the main 2 competitors are the PlayStation3 (which is over priced) and the Xbox360 (which is the right price) whereas the Wii is outselling both weekly due to high demand of the wireless family/friends friendly games console for all ages. Soon thou people will be forced into buying the PlayStation3 just to play sequels to their favorite game series or to play new games from companies that we've all grown to love their games in the past, SONY are just enforcers who force us to buy their machines to play the very games we want to play! (thou there is none yet on PS3 that I want to play)
