Little Fighter 2 for DS?

Does "Little Fighter 2" for Nintendo DS exist?, or is it possible to create or port? (I don't know if there is any free sourcecode )

I agree it's a great game, I listed it in my post full of games I want to see on DS. It's a shame there's no source code available, but maybe someone could contact the dev and get it.

I mailed the developers and all I got as an answer was:

So a version of LF2 for the Nintendo DS will stay as a dream for a looooooong time, or in the worst case forever.

Possibly the worst downfall of a freeware developer... Not releasing the source code.

Oh well, Looks like we'll have to do without.
