hmmm the only mention of an n64 bios on google is on all of the psp news sites that posted this same story. thats probably the reason that it has yet to be full speed...due to the lack of a BIOS. not to mention the fact that it is the only 64-bit system that is trying to be emulated and we're not even sure if 64-bit systems can even achieve full speed on the psp's system

anyways BIOS yeah maybe it could work the same way it did for the gpsp

but does a N64 BIOS exist???
I googled but haven't found one

as for the psp fully emulating the n64 full speed i think it can be done

If you turn on your N64 with no cartridge inserted then nothing happens. So I'm willing to bet that the N64 doesn't have BIOS built in.

No offense but some of you aren't that clever :P Thinking that using a BIOS could improve speed is incredibly facetious reasoning. If anything, an accurate HLE BIOS implementation in gpSP would make it faster, not slower, it's just that it's an amount of work that I don't really want to undertake, and is a compatability hazard unless it's perfect.

    N64 doesn't even have a BIOS.

I haven't quit gpSP, just put it on hiatus for a while.

Games like Super Mario Advance 3, Riviera and Sword of Mana actually DO work in gpSP, believe it or not. If they don't work for you then you're using the faulty BIOS. Don't argue with me, it's true; the sooner you accept this the sooner you can move on.
