this is quite funny and all, i mean the posts here and not the story about DAX leaving..

You know, this is NOT SONY's dooing, this is the pirates dooing, everyday people download 1000's of games (if not more) on open sites , that doesnt hurt the console/market or even make publishers and developers thinking about it all?

anyway why not do a locked OE without ISO support and such?, just make it run homebrew , hopefully dax would join sony and make them do such a tool.

I am game for the homebrew but the piracy and "killing" the format is not exactly a cool thing for such a fine console and by all means its NOT sony's fault, they may have tracked DAX down but he's been walking about in the hive for much longer than expected.

Anyway i respect everyone ones work on getting homebrew loaders and homebrew onto my fav. handheld , shame that they didnt focus more about homebrew.

Yes i know, DAX is not dooing it for piracy at all and he meant all well and i respect that fully.

PS: i am pretty sure sony set up a lawsuit or such against dax, he most likely has been tracked down and hell that would scare anyone wouldnt it?.

no, i like iso's but not piracy.
my umd drive is broken but i still buy games and rip the umd with a friends psp so that i can play them

that is pretty understandable but he was the best at what he was doing, but with all the support and donations we gets. if he ever gets sued he will have homebrew users and hackers there to bail him out. and if ur not willing to help the one who got u where u r now with ur psp, something is messed up with u. i say that he should keep going but i understand y he quit it. i can only hope that someone will jump in his place.
