Thats awesome, I wouldn't mind paying the extra $$ if discs like this ended up in retail. Have hard drive like storage capacity on one optical disc sounds like a good idea, only thing I'd be afraid of is losing one of those discs after filling it with data and information

I hear ya, but the only problem would be making it re writeable or else you would have to have 500GB of storage, before you could fill it up.

I could easily fill up 500GB from downloading music videos open source movies and animé, one of the reasons why I have 2x250GB Ext.HD's and a 80GB Ext.HD with my PC's 180GB HD But I would never get a 500GB DVD-R thou, cause I don't look after CD's properly

lol, I only have a speed of 54.0 Mbps on my wireless (broadband) network. Which I don't think is a high speed, but it's a big step from what I had a few years ago

Lol as soon as i have the "resources" to be able to download at that speed, then well be in business, my dad wants to get an 80mb dedicated line, for his business server, and also he wants to build a media server in our house, im thinking of just staying here for the rest of my life, they make it too pleasant to move out !
