Custom Firmware 3.40 LE-A

This sounds interesting, I might try out this edition of custom firmware sometime...

Sigh... Yet another crappy recovery mode addon for OE.

It can't even be considered a new custom firmware! And as for the GAMELE5 trick, that is just crappy hex editing...

Seriously, I wouldn't touch it myself... There is no chance they will get up to 3.50 from Dark_AleX's base...

No, as 3.40 OE can run 1.00 (e.g. non kxploit) EBOOT's.

I wouldn't touch it personally though.

So I'm guessing it should be put in something like a GAME100 folder? When I put it in my game 150 folder it showed up as corrupt.

nvm, I used Kxploit and it worked fine.

You can try it as well, the guy who said he wouldn't touch it! It doesn't erase any files in the flash, so you can even have your custom XMB remain!

I know how it works... I just don't like crappy addons to good custom firmwares.

Even if it's a crappy addon, there's nothing bad apart from having to rename the homebrew folder, and the installation is really fast (not even 30 sec), so there's nothing to lose except for a minimum risk of bricking (even lower then when installing 3.40 OE-A)
