Custom Firmware 3.40 LE-A

People should not label this as a Custom firmware because it is misleading. If 3.40 OE didn't exist then this release wouldn't exist either. If you look at this thread quite a few are talking about it as though this is a completely stand alone creation. I appreciate all homebrew but we must be real and stay away from false hopes.

Keep in mind, didnt DAX himself start his firmware hacking by making addons for the beloved 1.5.

It wasnt until 2.7 SE that he really started making the higher firmware compatable with homebrew.

Each and everyone of these people may actually become the next great hacker. This case tho stands out the most since it actually flashes files. In reality I really hope that not just one person makes the next great CFW, We need a group totally dedicated to it like team noobz, So that if one of the main mods decides to leave like DAX we will not be running around asking whats next, like we are now.

I for one Applad the mods working on the next cfw, Good luck to all of you. Try to make a group, after all there is strength in numbers. Email DAX's coCoder, he may be able to answer some of your questions. And mainly Dont let anyone tell you cannot do something, DAX had to deal with similar haters and look who he was at the end.

Also if I may make a request for the next CFW, please fix the issue that many have with using cheat devie and other custom prx files.

I must start with apologies; I do appreciate the work that coders put into these things.

Lodis's post sums things up; These really shouldn't be labled as new custom firmwares; I hate things that pretend to be what they're not. I also don't think the "features" justify the risk of replacing crucial files - it all seems like an attempt to gain fame. People naming things like this give people false hope abour new custom firmwares.

I'd also like to say that mods don't help understand it better.

People keep complaining.... don't use it. That simple. And, it is there if you want to. Every piece of homebrew can't be a home run, but if they don't make the little programs, the "bigget-better-whatever" won't be made. Just a thought ...

Sorry to say, but the rest of DAX's team isn't picking up the OE project.
