Does this mean it may be possible to get 1080p out of the WII on a HDTV in the future? i have it at 480p would be great to improve it

It does appear to be able to output 1080p, but my concern is with quality. It looks like it will just double the scan and not truly "upconvert" the signal and process it at all.

It may look good on some TVs, but not so good on others. I'm "cautiously optimistic" about this product.
