Graphics look pretty good

The first in-game image for Sony's PS3 blockbuster Killzone 2 has appeared on the Internet.
The USA Today website hosts the image, which is apparently taken from the single-level demo being shown to press tonight at E3. Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell will be there, so expect our thoughts as soon as humanly possible.
Killzone 2 was one of the first titles shown alongside the PlayStation 3 two years ago at E3 2005. The lavish and eye-popping trailer had press salivating, but unfortunately concrete details were hard to come by.
However, Sony is still excited about its potential, and described it to USA Today as a "hardware mover" designed to show off exactly what the new machine can do.
It's a futuristic first-person shooter in development at Guerrilla Games that takes place on the alien planet of Helghan. Here you and your squad will be up against the mutated human Helghast race who have a few tricks up their sleeves - chiefly the ability to harness the power of the weather.
Killzone 2 will have multiplayer support and is expected sometime next year.

Graphics look pretty good
Fake fake fake:
Someone put a poster on a brick wall, as you can see, and used photoshop to put the gun of the CG trailer of 2005 forming that fake image.
The wall that neogaf's used to make this fake:

Well that is totally fake, if they were the killzone graphics i would be really dissapointed, cause they were all jaggy and jpeg quality.
well if it was real i would be stunned at graphics like that for the ps3 as that is its main selling point
It doesn't look fake upon closer inspection. Look at the site on the gun, you can faintly see a crack that would be in the wall, a line that follows exactly where the stud is on the wall behind the Helghast and a tiny bit of shadow from the said Helghast.
The only fake is the one that the idiot proclaims is fake, where someone photoshopped the original image to be a poster on a wall, and moved the gun out to cover the spot where the gun was in the original.
Maybe the person shouldn't have left the crack from the wall that was visible on the sight...
That aside, I hope that these graphics are in their alpha or beta stage and that they will improve. They do look rather good, but the shadows are blocky and the textures on the wall do not look that good.
Watched the realtime trailer yesturday and the graphics looked nearly identical to the e3 2005, it was so awesome.
Trailer was sweet running on my 720P HDTV![]()
indeed. the cloud effects were stunning, as was the flaming wreck of the vehicle at the beginning.
i want some demos.
