yah, thats what im trying to use , when i try to run the 3.40 OE-A Firmware install it says: "The game could not be started. (8002014C)" And the program told me to format the memstick if it wasnt being read, so i did after backing up everything on it and put it on my comp. was there something i needed to keep?
you're new to this right?
Once you update to custom firmware you have to create a folder in PSP called GAME150 and put any homebrew in there to get things working
the 1.5 kernel is set as default when you install it, so no worries, to change it you have to go into recovery moce, but it is better this way
To go into recovery mode, shut down your psp completly (no sleep), and then turn it on while holding down the R trigger
READ!!!, you'll be surprised of what you can found
ok ill admit im new, but i do READ and i know all up to the recovery point, ive been running homebrew for a few days now, but thanks for telling me how to do it.
PS dont mean to be snippy, but right now im haveing to go to the library with my laptop and i realy hate going into public arias
all right got it all done, thanks guys
Set the kernel to 3.10 and run it.
The winstaller puts it in game150 I think.
I've never used it though.
Yeah, but It'll reset once he upgrades to 3.40.
