It's under configuration, then set the homebrew kernel to 1.50." were is configuration and how do i set the kernel to 1.5??? If anyone can help that would be grate.

    Just google "3.40 OE-A Winstaller"

It'll put the files on your psp, all you do is run it.

yah, thats what im trying to use , when i try to run the 3.40 OE-A Firmware install it says: "The game could not be started. (8002014C)" And the program told me to format the memstick if it wasnt being read, so i did after backing up everything on it and put it on my comp. was there something i needed to keep?

    you're new to this right?

Once you update to custom firmware you have to create a folder in PSP called GAME150 and put any homebrew in there to get things working

the 1.5 kernel is set as default when you install it, so no worries, to change it you have to go into recovery moce, but it is better this way

To go into recovery mode, shut down your psp completly (no sleep), and then turn it on while holding down the R trigger

READ!!!, you'll be surprised of what you can found

Set the kernel to 3.10 and run it.

The winstaller puts it in game150 I think.
    I've never used it though.

The Winstaller does put it in GAME150

You dont need to set it to 3.10... it can be any but 1.5 is best because you can use the GAME folder for homebrew!

Then when he does that its still best he changes to 1.50 Kernel!
