does compression make the game load longer or anything?

are there any disadvantages to it?

The more compressed it is, the longer it takes to load and the more battery it uses. It takes up much less space though.

i compressed alundra with full compression im going to see how long it takes to load

Load speed isn't much different at all actually, the battery is the main issue.

i have an x2 battery so it shouldnt matter much

Not too much, about 4 hours of non-stop on a stock battery, you're perfectly fine.

Wrong. Doesn't use up more battery at all.

True - the processor's speed affects the battery usage, while the level of processor usage doesn't.

I think loading speed increases marginally but not usually enough to notice a difference.
