Arrow can someone tell me what this means

    3.40 Open Edition REvision A

    Installation instructions:

    - Copy oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you
are in any SE/OE version. Get the 1.50 and 3.40 Sony updaters (of any region, because all are
currently the same), and copy them in the oeupdmaker directory with the names 150.PBP and 340.PBP.

Execute the program, and it will generate the DATA.DXAR file. The checksums (althoug the flasher
will check for them for you):

    CRC32: CDA4638D
    MD5: 9754F2CC0CBE2D8FE0DD009C90FDCD9F
    SHA1: 6F76BB67B31EFF6FECB72D9D4AF443C793E1E521

You need to run OEUPDMAKER on your PSP. Follow the instructions carefully.

When this has completed, it will say something like restart your psp. Connect your psp to the computer, and go to PSP>GAME>OEUPDMAKER folder.

If you find it correctly, there should be a data.dxar file in there (about 18mb).

This will then need to be copied to the 304oeflasher folder. Then you can run the flasher and begin to flash your PSP! Good Luck!

Take the 1.50 and 3.40 eboots, and rename them 150.pbp and 340.pbp. Put them in oeupdmaker/ and then run the program through your psp.

turn your psp on as you would normally, go to 'Game' then go down to games stored on your mem card. In there should be OEUPDMAKER. run this like a normal game and follow the instructions.

One quick question... You are on firmware 1.5, aren't you?

Copy the above two links, the top one for 1.5fw and the bottom one for 3.40fw.

Once you have 3.40oe, you can run psp isos straight away, no additional software needed, you need to make sure they are in the ISO folder on the ROOT of the memory stick you are using.

Any more questions we are all here ;-)

Just don't talk about isos on the site MasterMunt.
    Against the rules.
