Need help about PSP emulators

I have a psp version 2.82 is there any way possible to download an emulator to that version and it work. i have downloaded RIN for gbc/gba but it says its corrupt...what do i do?

You need to update to either 3.03 or 3.50 and use the appropriate downgrader (you need gta:liberty city stories unpatched for 3.03 and lumines 1 for 3.50)

I'm pretty sure there is nothing you can do to get an emulator to work on 2.82 without downgrading.
