    Default mapthis + 3.51 M33 CFW

I upgraded to 3.51 M33 VFW, now mapthis wont work. It crashed at loading usb module..... Is there anyone else with the same problem? I tried to replace usbacc.prx and usbgps.prx, that did not work. It used to work on 3.40 OE. If there is a solution, please share.

3.51 M33 Custom Firmware is too new. I recommend you downgrade back down to a lower firmware until someone figures it out. Or if you can figure it out, let us know.

Edit: Just upgraded from 3.03 oe-c to 3.51 M33-6 and all is running great! Used same configurations as what was in the 3.03 FW and am using Psp-290. Kernel is set to 3.51 and MapViewer is in the GAME351 folder. Not sure what .prx version I am using, though.

Works perfectly fine for me. I have my GAME folder kernel set to v1.50 and I am using the latest version of MapThis!. I even test it with my Holux GPSlim 240 and it locked on and everything. I am on 3.51 M33

lazie here are a couple things to check:

boot your PSP into recovery mode by fully turning it off, then turn it back on while holding the "R" button.
Go to configuration and check the line that says "Game folder homebrew currently:" and see whether it says 1.50 kernel or 3.51 kernel.

if it says 1.50 kernel then put your MapThis program into the GAME folder.
If it says 3.51 kernel then put your MapThis program into the GAME150 folder.

    This should work.

If that doesn't work then try this:
if it says 1.50 kernel then put your MapThis program into the GAME351 folder.
If it says 3.51 kernel then put your MapThis program into the GAME folder.

if none of that works.. then I don't know what else to say.

Originally, after I flashed my unit, I could not get into the "Configuration" submenu in the Recovery menu. That's when I couldn't get mapThis to work.

After the latest update, it fixed both of these problems for me. You might want to give it a try...

It could be custom XMB if your using it. I you have a custom systemplugin_bg/fg.rco it crashes the usb connection. So I'd replace that. Also, restore default settings as that seems to help.

While I'm at it. Can anyone point me to the right direcion on getting stuff setup for the Mapthis? Like prx's, files, you know. Also, where did you guys buy your holux stuff? trouble finding it for cheap.

    Default yeah

    I have CFW 3.51 M33-6 and a GPS-290.
    Kernel set to 3.51.
    MapThis! 0.4.97 placed in GAME351.
3.51 PRXs taken by myself from flash0 in Recovery Mode.

    Works perfectly.
