    psp [GUIDE] Installing 3.51 M33 Custom Firmware. Get Help Here.

    INSTALLING 3.51 CUSTOM FIRMWARE



    Getting started
    You will need the following:
    • A PSP on 1.50 Firmware. Downgrade
      OR
    • A PSP on any OE firmware. OE Installation
    • Your PSP battery is charged to at least 75%.
    • The installation files:
    • A USB cable, to connect your PSP to a PC.


    Installation for 1.50
    Installing 3.51 Custom Firmware on a 1.50 PSP:
    • You may use the Installation Video instead, if you wish. If you do not want to, please continue to read the guide:
      • Copy the folders 'kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher%' to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/' on your PSP's memory stick.
      • Copy the folder 'M33CREATOR' to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/' on your PSP's memory stick.
      • Run the kxploitpatcher program.
      • Download the official 3.51 update: here and rename to 351.PBP.
      • Copy the 351.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
      • Download the official 1.50 update: here and rename to 150.PBP.
      • Copy the 150.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
      • Execute '3.51 M33 CREATOR' under GAME on your PSP.
      • Then execute '3.51 M33UPDATE' under GAME on your PSP.
      • Once finished, press X.
      • Have fun on 3.51 Custom Firmware!



    Installation for an OE firmware
    Installing 3.51 Custom Firmware on an OE PSP:
    • You may use the Installation Video instead, if you wish. If you do not want to, please continue to read the guide:
      • Copy the folder 'M33CREATOR' to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/' on your PSP's memory stick.
      • Download the official 3.51 update: here and rename to 351.PBP.
      • Copy the 351.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
      • Download the official 1.50 update: here and rename to 150.PBP.
      • Copy the 150.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
      • Execute '3.51 M33 CREATOR' under GAME on your PSP.
      • Then execute '3.51 M33UPDATE' under GAME on your PSP.
      • Once finished, press X.
      • Have fun on 3.51 Custom Firmware!

    • All the functions of the official firmware 3.51 (Supports PS1 Games, high resolution videos, MP3 Visualizer, Internet browser, Connection to PS3 through internet, etc...)
    • Loading of UMDs that require a firmware going up to 3.51
    • Direct loading of ISOs/CSOs through the menu in GAME called "Memory Stick"
    • Direct loading of homebrew and official demos through the menu in GAME called "Memory Stick"
    • Direct loading of PS1 games (converted to PSP format) through the menu in GAME called "Memory Stick"
    • Ability to change the CPU clock speed
    • Recovery Mode
    • Region Spoofing
    • Numerous bug-fixes
    • Ability to customize all your icons/themes/waves
    • Changed appearance of recovery mode

    Wow, great guide dude.

    That new recovery menu looks alot better than the blue one (but thats just damn picky).

    Shouldnt you hide all the mac addresses in the pics?
    (not sure why, everyone seems to do it though)

    Nope, i hate it when people do that! the only way someone can use that is they use your MAC address and get banned from an access point then your PSP cant use that point! but even if that did happen just use MAC cracker and change it!

    Oh right so its totally pointless.

    Yeah basically! but even if someone did use it and get you banned from a access point you can just change it!
