Grease up the analogue stick?

My analogue nob on the PSP is a bit choppy and it's very hard to do smooth movements (it's rather new acctually).

Is there a good way to grease/oil it up? I was thinking maybe Silicon Spray would do it, somehow?

Any ideas?

So you want a wet nob.

well i don't think grease or oil would do any good. you have to live with it, the psp is known for its bad analog and d-pad.

DO NOT GREASE IT!

The contacts are inside, you could take it apart and clean, or try and wear it down.
