basicly a driver that enables you to play isos/csos with out a UMD in your psp.

so to run an iso you would need to set you psp to a no-umd setting?

Don't be sorry. That's why we are here,to help others. That's the purpose of a forum.
And the answer is NO. If you have a UMD you could still have problems. That depends on your firmware, some firmwares run more back-ups than others, like for example,3.51M33 run the games from 3.51 firmware and 3.40 OE doesn't.
Ok I get you, Just upgraded and GTA-LSC didn't work on 3.40OE but does with this.

Anyone having problems should crank up there PSP to 333 and try from there.

    Me too!

By the way,has anyone tested Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops with the new No-UMD driver yet? It didn't work with any old version. I'm about to test it but now I have to reformat my memory stick and I'm making a backup. Anyway,if I get to test it before anyone I'll edit this post.

Edited: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops[US] not working.

I just updated, I have tried some games (Valkyre Profile, Smackdown vs Raw) and they both work, I cant get Metal Gear to run but I think its my rip because it didnt work on the OE firmwares and I never bothered to re rip it. Maybe I'll do it when I finish putting my college schedule in order.
