Show your hidden folders/files in that folder. If its there that will show it.

Ive heard of killbox, does it work?

Thumbs.db is a hidden file that has information of custom folder pictures etc...

What triv1um said will work ( I dont see why not)

thumbs.db IS being used. Odds are windows is either trying to refresh it, or you have a folder open looking at it in thumbnail view. Make sure to not be using thumbnail view when trying to delete it, or go back and delete it after you've removed the rest of the files in the folder and it will work fine.

Also, killbox is a horrible thing that is used by people who don't understand how computers work and that if a file is in use, there is a good reason for it and you should stop things from using it as opposed to killing off all sorts of things manually.

This is a PC, if you don't want to think about it then a restart will probably solve the issue.

I know its less true since the move to NT, but my old win98 box was perfectly stable if you just reset it several times a day
