    Default r4ds problem

o.k i dont know where to put this so mods if you want to put it in the right forum then please do

i'v had my r4ds for a few weeks now and i'v used the tf card for something else (ubcd for my laptop) , now when i put it in the card in my ds i get the message sd/tf error, now the tf card reads fine in my windows pc i'v formated it about 5 times and still get the same error message, i'v also put the 1.10 kernel on there by it's self and it still sows the same error.
and one know how to fix this ??

make sure you're not formatting it as NTFS. Try FAT or FAT32.

    Question

did you install the kernel correctly? they have to be in there just right. If so, your r4 is probably screwed up and you need to contact the site it was ordered from.

You have one of the two problems:

1: You didn't install the kernel correctly. Your memory stick (TF) should have these files/folders in the root directory:
    _system_
    moonshl
    _DS_MENU.DAT
    _DS_MSHL.NDS

    2. Your R4 is defective (does not happen often) Contact the person you bought it from to get it RMA.

    Hope that helps...
