“Apple’s disregard for customer preferences in relation to iOS7 is corporate thuggery.”
Mixed reviews of Apple’s new OS have been bouncing around, with some embracing it and either loving or hating it, and others avoiding the update like the plague.
One Californian man has taken it one step further and filed a lawsuit against Tim Cook himself, reports Sky News.
The update has sparked tech-world-wide debates, and one spoof ad saying that it made your phone waterproof even resulted in people drowning their phones.
Mark Menacher is demanding a way of removing the installation file of iOS7, which is taking up space on his family’s devices even though he has chosen to not upgrade, and constantly asks if the download should be installed every time the device is switched on.
He is also seeking $50 in compensation saying that the way Apple has dealt with the roll out of iOS7 is “corporate thuggery.”
Menacher said in his court papers: “Steve Jobs was reportedly rough on company employees in pursuit of happy customers, but Tim Cook apparently cultivates a culture of contempt for customer satisfaction in pursuit of corporate profits.”
He continued: “It is a policy that will eventually fail.”
