PSP 3.03 to 1.50 problem

Guys,

Hope someone here can help!.

I performed a downgrade of my PSP from 3.03 to 1.50 following the instructions shown here http://www.freeyourpsp.com/downgrade...ngrade303.html
All seemed to work fine however on boot up the PSP plays the 'boot sound' and the screen comes on but I have nothing showing bar the date and time in the upper right corner.

If I eject the MStick then I get some menu items showing but the buttons are unresponsive.

Am I missing something or have a stuffed the PSP?

Ok you should have seen a error message! this is called BSOD (blue screen of death) if you see this message press o

I get no error message. Just the normal background screen with a only the clock and date nothing else.
