    Default Help your old friend.

    I stopped using my PSP for quite a while because it had a screen issue. I opened it up the other day and fixed it.

    I have upgraded to 3.40OE-A and I have all the apps I need working, emulators, homebrew etc.

    Back in the old 1.5 days I used to flash my PSP alot and I want to get back into it.

    I was reading up on XMB's etc, and I read that there is not enough flash memory.

    I know about evolve XMB and I have looked but I haven't found a guide to help me.

    Can you guys help me to free up flash space? and provide links to flashing apps? (unless I can do it via flashUSB) and any other cool flashing/customizing things.

    Thanks in advance :thumbup:

    Mabye you you use this tool that redirects the gameboot to be read off the root of the memory stick. Then delete the old one. I do it and it frees up space and works great. I am also on 3.40 oe and if it gives you any trouble tell me.

    Try one of the flashing apps over at qj. I've never used them but their supposed to free up space. Also you could delete unwanted rco's like network_update.rco. All it will do is disable the icon. also i deleted the camera_plugin.rco and that helped. It disables the camera icon under the photo part.

    Boot recovery -> advanced -> toggleflash0 usb

    Put this in your FONT folder and overwrite!

    Gets you 1mb of flash space!
