Nintendo’s handheld console 2DS has dropped below the £100 barrier at several UK retailers.
Having arrived in the UK on October 12th at £109.99, a drop to below £100 was always inevitable as Christmas approached, although perhaps some would have thought retail would have waited longer than ten days.
Sainsbury’s is currently offering the 2DS for £99.99 in-store, while the machine can be ordered for £99 online from Tesco Direct.
From tomorrow Argos will offer the console for £99 along with two games – LEGO The Lord of the Rings and Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed. That deal will expire on October 26th.
Amazon has also started selling the 2DS for £99.
