can you post a link to the image you used? i would like to try that one.
Ok so Dual Scene.com Here , is hosting a hack called, "PSPersonalize" it allows you to create and upload your own images into the firmware to change the backgorunds. Since I have been banned from Gaming-age and they are all discussing whether or not to try it I figured I'd be brave and give it a shot, and guess what? IT WORKS!!!!
So for proof and to let people know that it is safe, here is a screen shot of my psp
Just follow the instructions and if you are not familiar with the swap technique figure that out before doing this, unless you have a 1.0 system. Also whenit means the "root" of M2 "memory card 2" it reeally means the root folders where Memstick.ind resides.
Peace out!

Uh one thing though, it is hard to read the menus with this background, you should deffinetly darken it or maybe use a different one. I may change mine tomorrow!
Also, make sure you save link as to get the bmp as a 24 bit bmp and also its filename is already set for june!
Here is a really bad pic taken with a camera phone. This is just to show you guys it worked for 2 people with no problem.
