MapThis Running on irShell

Has anyone gotten this to work? I want to use the map program while listening to mp3s. I have irShell loaded already and I can listen to music while doing other things but when I try to run mapThis it frezzees on the blue "loading usb accessory module" screen and then shuts off. Anyone have any ideas?

there are also firmware plugins to listen to mp3s while running homebrew/games.
if youre interested i will upload them for oyu, because i cannot find them in the internet atm

Maybe the problem is when using PSP290.
It goes fine for me with serial GPS mouse with PSP running at 222MHz.
