Ghosts?

I may have misunderstood some rumors flying around but weren't the readers supposed to find out about how people became ghosts. Harry did talk to the Grey Lady and she described her story but i got no conclusion out of that.

I was sure that in the chapter Kings Cross that Harry would have been given the choice to go to heaven or become a ghost but he was not. any ideas?

yeah he was, dumbledore said he could take the train, and when harry asked where to, dumbledore said 'on'

so i guess that was the answer then? i was expecting the grey lady to come out with it

well she was already telling harry a story, abut the tiara, so i dont see why she would tell him about it.

but if the stations where they can chose to go on to heaven or whatever, was dumbledore just waiting around for harry there before going himself..

well i though that anyway harry couldn't die because voldemort blood and ext....so he hadn't really the choice.
