Yeah, I'm having the exact same problem... it just takes you right back to the PSP home screen when you try to load it.

You need to have the correct folder names and you cant use hide corrupt data on VBA.

Actually, your rom isn't named correctly. Rename it to rom.gba
That is Crucial to getting it to work and load the rom.

Hmm, odd... I did rename the folder correctly and the rom file name is "1864 - The Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap (U)(Independent).gba"

    Still nothing works right.

Err nevermind, I was stupid. I was using XPloit for the GBA emulator, which is the same thing that Projectx (above) was doing. There shouldn't be a % folder for VBAPSP, just go into the GAMES folder on your PSP directory, and create a new folder named VBAPSP, then just copy and paste the EBOOT file into the folder along with 1 .gba rom.

I still can't run a game though... it gives me the message "Game can not be started" or whatever. Maybe it's a bad ROM file... If anyone knows a good place to get Working GBA ROMS, please tell me!

UPDATE: I did find a good place for ROMS, and I know the ROM files are ok, but they still refuse to run on my PSP. they are all named .gba so I don't know what's wrong... I put them right into the VBAPSP folder next to the EBOOT file.

Rename the rom to rom.gba and make sure the game is kinda old.

I'm still amazed this system hasn't been emulated better yet; it's extremely popular yet there is only one almost non-functioning emu...if a GBA is pretty much equal to a SNES then.......................connect the dots..........
