    Default iPod Linux

hey all, i was just browsing the forums and no iPod section so here i am. I just got a 30GB black iPod yesterday, i ordered it straight from apple. And i always knew i could install Linux on an iPod so i want to know how to, or if i even can so anyone know how to and want to help a total novice in the world of iPod's?

ps. WTF they can run Linux on an iPod but not on a PSP...ah must have to do with the iPod having its own built in HD.

I installed rockbox one time, was cool because I could play gbc games, but sucked because it always messed up. Then I installed ipodlinux, and it wouldn't do anything. All I could do was play the demo apps included. So I just reflashed it and use official firmware.
