Reduce the CPU speed to lower than 110mhz?

Hello,
When using the psp-290 it is known that the lower the cpu speed the quicker you lock on to satellites.

In this forum http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=33390
he has his cpu speed at 28mhz.

He said he achieved it by using an mp3.prx.
I downloaded it but haven't found a way to get the bus speed to 28mhz.

Can anybody guide me through this please?

Press the musicnotekey and hold it. Then press Triangle or Cross to switch CPU speed.

I didn't saw much difference between 28 mhz and 111 mhz.

But you can try.

@Codaz it actually helps when i use it just for locking on.I lock on a minute or 2 faster.
