cool.. did doom have the ability to strife left and right? turning is really pissing me off!
This was created using lantus's DoomPSP V0.02 source code.
All that was changed was swapping the D-Pad with the analog stick
controls, for those that prefer the D-Pad for moving around instead
(and those that get cramps in their hands using the analog stick for
too long ;P). Also for those that wanted that control setup, but couldn't
change and complile the code themselfes :) lantus gets all the credit!
Should work with all the wads the orignal DoomPSP V0.02 works with.
Thanks to lantus for porting Doom to PSP!
Next on my list is figuring out how to do fullscreen although I think
lantus or someone else will beat me to it first ;)

good stuff..maybe what i will do is allow the user to select between analog and dpad with your changes later on
and your right i am working on full screen - watch this space![]()
and yes you can strafe - they have been mapped to the buttons on the right
Hey lantus, I was wondering, if you do happen to make a new version...
Could happen to be able to integrate a way to strafe with the D-pad? Because this would be the perfect control set-up for those of us who play modern shooters.
Thanks for the awesome games guys!
If the D-Pad or analog was strafe and forward/backward and the triggers were turn and square and or x was shoot it would be good for encircling enemies. Turning with triggers is counter-intuitive at first but after a while it is very efficient for dodging etc.
Does this run on 1.5? It won't for me, it just boots up, shows some text, then goes back to the PSP MS menu.
works fine for me...make sure you either use the single card (non swap) exploit or the swap trick exploit to be able to play homebrew apps on your psp...
Can someone tell me how to put doom on my PSP cause all it says is corrupted data
