Excellent release! Hadn't cracked open TTD in ages, almost forgotten how fun it'd been. Having it on the PSP is nothing short of awesome.
After some delay here is the stable version 0.5.2 which was released by the openttd dev team at late May, now ported to PSP, looks like they will release 0.5.3 soon, so i hope to release the PSP port of it as soon as possible.
Currently the port implements all the game features, such as sound, music, newgrf, tt fonts, wireless multiplayer, etc... so feel free to let me know any bugs you find to fix them on future versions.
This new version includes some sound and suspend bug fixes.
Current ChangeLog:
- Code updated to 0.5.2 to be able to play on latest online servers
- Game crash when suspending fixed
- Native PSP sound effects driver developed instead of using SDL_mixer
- Fixed sound & music mixer volumes
- Sound effects speedup bug fixed
- Replace trains window resized to fit psp screen
- Extra viewport window resized to fit psp screen
- PSP dedicated server upgraded to 0.5.2

I agree, it really is awesome. Unfortunately, the site seems to be unreachable at the moment, so I'll keep trying till it works. Thanks, turulo, and good luck in the future!
Sorry, its murphy's law, release date and DNS servers go down....

how do i play this game...i got it working on my psp....but im confused to hell....
like theres all these towns.....so i have to make my own town or something.....if so....where?
is there a tutorial or something?
how do you play? you new gamers really dont know anything
here's a crash course
the aim of the game is to make money on your transport
so for the first few hours try to concentrate on passangers and busses, build roads to connect towns, later trains, airports, ports. Find what town A needs and bring it from town B
hint: Trains rule, the longer the journey, the more money it makes...
