    if sony had made the games as hard to run in iso form as the video's, piracy wouldn't be an issue.

    seems strange that it is so hard, does anyone have any good info about why it is?

    Well video piracy (in my oppinion) is quite huge but i'm not sure if it's bigger than video game piracty but it is huge. They may be trying to stop the flood of video piracy onto the system. In my oppinion i wish they could incorporate more codecs into the firmware such as avi and divx.

    The only reason why it's because no one working on the firmware though it was important enough. UMD ISO's consume a lot of memory stick space. Not worth the time for the average coder. Easier to just buy the item itself. Besides IR shell can do it at this point so it's not imposible.

    Same here. Divx, XVID, Mkv, ogm,support would be the best addition to the firmware.:thumbup:
