black screen on gpsp09 and recovery menu

hey fellas,

i have a 3.40 oea and i used to play gba roms via gpsp09. after playing for a while, when i try to open the gpsp, i only get a black screen with occasional flashes of the blue gpsp screen before the system completely crashes. the same thing happens when i try to open the recovery menu.

if you know a solution, please help me.

your memory stick might be dodgy, try taking it out and go into recovery again. see if that helps.

i just took the memory stick out and tried to go to recovery but it still dislays a black screen

turn the PSP completely off then wait for like 30 seconds and turn it back on ( sounds stupid, just do it)

i've tried that but nothing has changed. when i try to go to recovery, the black screen will flash for about 30 seconds then ill see a glimpse of the blue recovery screen then when i try to press something, it will go back to the black screen.
