erm...the best would be that make sure you know what you are doing before you do it and make sure u understand any instructions given and stick to them??

messing with the files in the font folder may result in semi brick (i deleted gb3s1518.bwfon once and that's what happened...)

having a custom opening_plugin.rco prevented me from playing pops (even now after reverting to the original with both 3.52 M33 and 3.40 LE cwcheatpops don't work for me...)

don't delete any files that you have no idea of its purposes?

Most importantly, keep a dump of your psp's firmware on the PC, sometimes it saves the trouble of reflashing a whole firmware.

If you really are that scared of bricking, don't flash again.

Don't mess with your flash files, don't use flash programs, only use trusted Custom Firmwares (OE and m33), run trusted programs only.

Follow this, and you will not have a problemo!
