If there was it wasn't by the same person. In light of that, number of games playable: zero, because there's no input.

Just getting to a title screen doesn't say a lot about compatibility, I bet a lot of those games don't play correctly afterwards... you're going to have to redo everything next time and once you can get past the title screen it'll take probably several minutes to even get anywhere ingame, if you can even manage to play the games at all at such low frame rate (ignoring lack of touchscreen input)

So you'd may as well at least wait for something that emulates input enough.

I haven't quit gpSP, just put it on hiatus for a while.

Games like Super Mario Advance 3, Riviera and Sword of Mana actually DO work in gpSP, believe it or not. If they don't work for you then you're using the faulty BIOS. Don't argue with me, it's true; the sooner you accept this the sooner you can move on.

    EDIT: oops. it does!
You never specified "it" but I'm thinking its to the homebrew question... but your wrong with the other part about the DS mods actually, theres plenty of things to do it with.

And I'm also surprised that no one has mentioned the only reason the N64 was capable of being emulated was because the PSP's and N64 CPU had a similar achitecture. You'll also have to think you'll be emulating a ~67 Mhz ARM9 CPU and a ~33 Mhz ARM7 CPU with a 333Mhz (MIPS?) CPU.

Then another thing is the available RAM in the PSP, its 32 MB, right? You might be able to load a 64 MB game but at one point or the other it will crash if its loaded into the RAM ( Doesn't loading it into the RAM provides a framerate increase due to faster reading/loading times?)

It is possible but not quite practical, it might run some full 2D games well enough, such as Pheonix Wright, but I seriously doubt it will ever be able to run 3D with full speed....

If I'm wrong I'll gladly eat my words.... I never thought near fullspeed emulation of the Genesis was possible on the DS, but now there jEnesis..

Edit: I'm a little late lol and I would test this if I could get my memory stick....

Ooo. 7fps on zoo keeper looks like it could be manageable to play around with for the hell of it.
