    Default 3.40 OE or 3.52 M33?!?!?!?

Ok im really losing my mind and i must do this today if anything. I am on 3.40 Oe. I am having a problem of whether or not to upgrade to 3.52 M33. I heard there aren't as many bugs as 3.40 oe (havrn't found any). But i am scared to brick. What are the chances??? I have a warrenty but most psp's in my local store are either 3.50/40 and i don't have Luminies. I do not want to brick at all ever. Could someone please help me find a tutorial too? Thanks

    1. bugs not included anymore. it was all resolved in 3.51 M33-7.
    2. the only problem with 3.52 M33 is a custom battery icon (system_plugin_fg.rco) it will cause your psp to freeze when going into usb mode unless you use a custom battery icon specificly for 3.51 m33 (which also works on 3.52). this is not a bug created by M33 because dark alex's firmware wouldve had the same problem
    3. chances to brick are slim just like OE.
    4. also the installation is much faster than OE. you dont need to take the dxar and move it. everything will be set after the M33Maker is done. you will see

i dont understand y people are so skeptical about M33. its just like DAX's firmware but better.

I just saw a thread saying that you might have bugs if you upgrade from 3.40 oe. Is this true?

also i havent had a problem at all. the first time i updated to M33 was 3.51 the first release and THAT version had major bugs. but they were resolved in update 7. so 3.52 m33 doesnt have any bugs. at least none that i know of. i love it thouhg and i havent had any problems what so ever.

Don't worry about it, all bugs are taken care of and it's a very good firmware.
I upgraded from 3.40 OE, nothing ever bad happened.

Thats total crap, don't take any notice of it.
Use the original update first then use the second one

Depends on the theme. If you use themes designed specifically for the m33 firmware then no, it should be fine.

I installed the applecor theme this weekend and it works great.

I have a theme i had on 3.40 OE (without the custom battery icon of course) and it's fine, just because I'm too lazy to change it with the 3.52 icons LOL

Oh, BTW the bug you say happens cause of updating from 3.40-OE, It has all the time been there in custom firmware, it happened to me when I updated precisely to 3.40-OE, my psp went japanese, it had the 0 button for selection by default, and two colorful icons appear under rss

To fix it, IF it EVER happens to you, updating to ANY CFW, you just have to replace the config.se file on flash1 with a backup (someone said you could just delete it, but I have my doubts)
