Shadowman psx-psp

Im trying to get this game to run as its one of my all time favourites and the only psx game im interested in emulating. i ripped using alcohol120% and converted with psx2psp it works on title screen but then when i click new game it says loading and nothing else happens has anyone else had luck running this game? i saw a compatibility thread somewhere an they had it down as running. im on 3.40 oe-a BTW.
