Ursus, didn't realize there was an exe there as well - thanks for picking that up (I'll put in a location check on startup).

very nice job, deniska, mib42 and insane!

Just my 2 cents for further development: It would be nice if the maps zoom out when you drive faster and zoom in when the car stands or with lower speed. May be its possible to implement it in the config file like:

    maxzoom: 6
    speedlimit: 70 kmh

    minzoom: 2
    speedlimit: 30 kmh

    middzoom: 4

    like this

    @mystheryman:
Wäre schön, wenn du die mp3 files mal irgendwo hochladen könntest...

    Hello folks!

First, I want to thank deniska, in7ane and the rest of the MapThis-Team! This Update is amazing!

As I heard you released MapThis 0.5, i directly installed it on my PSP and it seems to work very fine. Have no words for this great release!

I'll hope to have a quite longer trip in near future to test the new version in real conditions

But two questions are left for me:

If I want to edit the Soundfiles, which ones do I have to replace? The ones in GMDL oder just the files in the system-folder on my PSP?

How is it about older maps? Do I have to redownload them?

    @ all germans:

just replace the files on psp..
if you adding new prompts or changing the order of prompts, make sure that suonds.txt file if updated in gmdl..
old maps should work just fine...

i noticed a bug in the cpu switcher... when you use the icon from the menu where it only does 222/333mhz... when you switch it and view the speed on the gps info screen it says 89mhz.

is it possible to get driving directions from within the app? im going to DC soon and i would like to be able to use that because i have no idea where to go there.

also does anyone have a place to get maps from/post maps to? ive been working on generating a few and i was wondering if there was a place they could be hosted for people to download rather than making their own (it was a bit complicated for me at first).

    It's not a bug, it's a feature

deniska seperated the CPU-Frequencies, so in the GPS-Info-Screen you get faster fixes!

No, generating directions on the PSP is not possible. We should stick this on the top of every topic

You will get problems with the copyrights of google, if you upload such maps. So everybody has to generate his own maps.
