well, let's have a look what has been realized with version 0.5 ....

- Listening music while driving with GPS-Support
- 3D-Bird-View of the map
- better sight (nightmode)
- Voice-prompts
- localization into german

whats missing comparing with a better Standalone-Navigationsystem:

- generating maps on the fly (will not be possible)
- showing traffic-jams (will not be possible without WiFi-Support. I do not know if there is a online-service where you can check for traffic-jams for every country?!)
- showing movies while standing in a traffic-jam (is possible by exiting mapThis ... so it's quite possible)


What I prefer to have in version 0.6:
- better music-support (that must not be implemented, but would be great if you would see the current track and select another one ...)
- support of playing videos inside of the application (because it's illegal watching films while driving, it do not has to be implemented ... but it would be nice for the other people in the car )
- voice-prompt-generator on the fly. Perhaps this could be realized with GMDL? You have to install some kind of text-to-speech-software and the voice-prompts are generated with the direction-file?

I think thats all i would prefer, because this application is some kind of perfect.

Of course the program has to become very very stable, but I haven't had any crashes with version 0.5 yet.

Another wish from me for GMDL: The program should not crash if I do a fault. There should be a message box like: you did that wrong or something like that. I know, a lot of work, but this is the place to post wishes

How can you hear music in the app? Is it in mapthis or are you using Music prx 0.55? Or do you mean the voicesound?
How can i get the localization into german?
